*This is an energy portrait of the musical artist, Madonna. The energy I communicated with in order to paint this portrait was very powerful, but reserved. It felt as if the energy was making a business transaction with me. There was no bonding, yet more like a contractual agreement. I began with the green symbol in the middle of the painting and continued with the blues, reds and yellows. The thin red vines felt like newly born energy. Each stroke was making a statement, not one was wasted. The second phase of the painting was more focused than the first. This is where the five orange points pin down the bright pink curve. There was lots on intensity in painting the orange points as well as the five different colored points below those, pointing upward. It was pretty draining for me and I was happy to have relief when finished.
