*This painting started out to be a personal energy portrait of an old college roommate of mine, but evolved into the energy behind the methodical brain. I took an interest in painting this energy because it is such a contrast from my round, non-detailed, unorganized energy. I began the painting with the complex amoeba-like cell in the middle and the rest stemmed from uncertainty. There is a star burst, curvy lines, straight lines, circles... tons of chaotic detail. What I learned from this energy and also what I learned about my roommate, is that we are not completely different. This energy is very undisciplined and unorganized just like my unruly feminine energy, though it seems very lost among the details. The lost feeling captured in this painting is the difference between my brain and the methodical brain.
