The size of this print with white mat included is 8X10 inches. The actual print area is 4.25X6.25 inches. In the year 2006, my goal was to paint the energy of each month, this painting is of July. It is a very simple and calm energy. The beautiful blues in the background were very fun to paint. Once I finished the blues, the bright red kept catching my eye. I put the red on my brush, but I just couldn't get enough on it. I kept playing around with the paint until a drop accidentally landed onto the canvas, adding a tinge of fun to the energy. I kept dripping thick drops all over the canvas and then stretching the drops for a even more dramatic look. This is a very solid and happy energy we had in July 2006.
